“No chairs on balcony. No spare trash can liners. Restaurant was not well staffed. One waitress who started she was doing three jobs causing delays in getting our food. All carts were stored on first floor entrance and none at handicap rear entrance. No freezer to keep ice packs necessary for meds. No diet sodas in vending machines. “It is a property on National historic places from 1932. It is charming and quirky-if you want new or cookie cutter, stay elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable worst is using slated shade instead of curtains as the bright outdoor exterior lights from the hotel make it nearly impossible to sleep due to bright lights pouring into the room maybe get curtains and rearrange the room so bed isn’t next to the large window.”

“We were traveling from Florida through the night for a relatives funeral. My sister booked an extra night so when we arrived early the lady checking her in allowed us to stay the one night with them until we could check in later that day since we got there at 2 in the morning. The other lady who ended up checking us in saw the notes on file when we came back down stairs later on allowed us to check in a few hours before checkin.
