“We reserved the Deluxe room with king size bed. We called Thursday to confirm the room. We told them over the phone, we have 2 dogs. We were not given the room reserved. We were given a room with 2 single beds. The vending machine on the property was out of service. The lamp in the room was not properly assembled and would fall over easily. The staff was very unhelpful in our request and slightly apologetic about things. ”

We left the glass door open in spite of the cool temperatures so we could hear the fountain outside. Breakfast was exquisitely crafted. Altogether a dream stay.”

“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. “Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. “We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken.
