“Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.”

“We stayed during Western States weekend, and we chose this hotel for the lower price compared to what was available in town and we knew what we were getting, having been here before. With all that said: our non-smoking room smelled of smoke+ other accumulated smells, retained by the old carpet and the old window drapes. The room was spacious (king bed), the fridge and microwave were working. It would be nice to see some more care placed into these rooms.”

“We were there for two nights. First night excellent. Second night the workers that were staying there, were partying at the room next to us. All workers watched it there. Loud voices, vulgar mouths and very drunk. Started about 5:30. Manager on duty was Jeremy. I called four times, he pretty much did nothing. One of his responses was they are renting rooms here. So I wasn't? Finally at 10:30 we asked to go to another room. He said he would go and talk to them once again. He threatened them with...

“Wow! What a great place to stay. An incredible lobby, the room was faultless and the bathroom was amazing. The staff was so helpful. Parking was easy and its location near all the Paladio stores and restaurants was perfect. We even got lavender sachets in the lobby that took the experience to a great level. We definitely will stay here again.”

“We had had an ADA accessible room, and the ramp to the bathroom was a bit janky. The bathroom had neither a fan nor a window in it so it was chronically smelly and stuffy. The bed was firm and comfortable and the manager in the morning was very friendly and lively! He showed us his patriotism- Red White and Blue painted toes for the 4th which was fun. The breakfast was okay, but he was quick to provide us anything we needed. He was the best part of the stay to be honest. His staff could do well...

“The owners were super friendly to my children. We stayed in the Sterling room which was like a library! My children enjoyed looking through the books. My only comment was we had no choices for breakfast and my kids wouldn't eat the breakfast. More for me though!”
