Riverfront Park si trova lungo le sponde del Cumberland e ospita concerti all'aperto e festival musicali durante tutto l'anno. È in corso un'opera di riqualificazione sulla zona del lungofiume, al termine della quale il parco avrà una dimensione dieci volte superiore a quella attuale. Ad oggi è comunque un ottimo luogo per passare un po' di tempo lontano dal centro urbano. Questo festival musicale si svolge vicino alla Country Music Association e offre quotidianamente una serie di concerti, gratuiti al parco e a pagamento presso lo stadio LP Field. Durante i quattro giorni di festival sarai immerso in un'atmosfera di assoluto divertimento. Molti venditori montano gli stand nel parco dove potrai acquistare di tutto, dalla birra artigianale ai corn dog fino ai cd musicali.Riverfront Park è inoltre il centro ufficiale per le celebrazioni annuali del 4 luglio, l'Independence Day. Nel corso degli anni si sono avvicendate ai concerti star del calibro di Darius Rucker, Katy Perry e Kenny Chesney. Da non perdere l'evento del Music City Festival & BBQ Championship che attrae buongustai e amanti della musica da ogni parte del sud. Questo festival si tiene nel mese di agosto ed è uno spettacolo di venditori, dimostrazioni e giochi a tema gastronomico col controcanto dei musicisti che si sfidano cantando letteralmente le lodi della loro arte culinaria. Il parco è il cuore e l'anima della Nashville "outdoor" con una proposta che include anche il Pride Festival, le corse di beneficenza e le gare con le canoe dragonboat a 20 posti. Dai un'occhiata al calendario degli eventi sul sito Web del parco, in particolar modo nella stagione estiva quando l'offerta è molto variegata.Riverfront Park è collegato alla città tramite i mezzi di trasporto (treni e autobus) della Music City Star. This was a great location for the price. An additional cost for limited parkings, which is understandable due to being located close to Broadway. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Bode.

I rented the apartment for a week long conference at Vanderbilt univ. and I shared it with a colleague. The apartment is on one of those soulless high rises that are sprouting in Nashville. The remote verification process was very tedious. I had to submit a scanned copy of my driver license and other sensitive information. I called Landing two days before my trip to ask whether the check-in information would be sent also to my colleague; they said yes, but she did not receive any instruction. The steps for retrieving the key and locating our apartment were clear and we had no problems there, but only one key was provided. In the apartment we found a Keurig machine, but no coffee, tea, or sugar. The next day we stepped into the office on the first floor of the building to ask for coffee and another key but we were told that they have no connection with Landing and could not help us. I received a “welcome “ text, with a number for emergencies; when I texted asking for another key and basic supplies, I did not get any reply. My colleague and I had to cope with our single key for the whole week. The checkout process was troublesome and we couldn’t figure out how to return the key. We left it in the apartment, with fingers crossed. Luckily, when I reported the problem via text, I got a reply that confirmed that the key had been found. The place was nice and we had a good stay altogether, but it could’ve been made smoother with little effort from Landing
