Thank you for pointing out that you were able to enjoy the spectacular oceanfront sunsets nightly from the front decks of Villa Sunset Modern which enjoys a Polywood outdoor dining table, a counter height cocktail table with 10-foot umbrella and counter height chairs, as well as ample sofa and loveseat soft seating for memorable conversations around the propane fire pit overlooking the ocean. Without the need to drive home after the sunsets--you were able to enjoy the nightly sunsets with delicious food and beverages while watching gorgeous sunsets unfold at Sunset Cliffs Nature Park--which is rated as a Top 10 San Diego Attraction!

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate all guest feedback. Our main response to all of the comments is, "please allow us to help you." It is distressing to us to see that this guest could have improved their experience but chose not to. We appreciate guests who let us know when they need anything or just phone/text us that they can't find something like "where are the beach chairs kept". Unfortunately, this guest did not communicate with us during their stay regarding any of the issues that they listed. Had the guest simply communicated, most of the issues could have been resolved within a few minutes (like where beach chairs are stored). We appreciate the opportunity to rectify issues immediately as there is nothing that we can do for a guest after they have left. Immediate fixes were available for Pool Temperature instructions (Item # 2), Propane tanks (Item # 4), BBQ tools (Item # 7), Beach Chairs (Item # 8), and Towels (Item # 10). A quick text or phone call would have resulted in instructions for programming the pool, new propane tanks delivered immediately, the location of the BBQ tools and Beach Chairs, and new towels being delivered immediately. Immediate fixes were also available for the Outdoor Kitchen electricity (Item # 5) and Outdoor Grill (Item # 6) as there is a GFCI outlet which will trip when exposed to water, which cuts power to the outdoor fridge and built-in BBQ. Likewise, the Kitchen has GFCI reset buttons which occasionally need to be reset if the Garbage disposal (Item # 11) or kitchen outlets (Item # 2) are not working. Nearly all of the guest's concerns would have been resolved within 60 minutes if they had sent a single text to us. We are equally responsive for fixes such as the Pool Safety Fence needing a fastener (Item # 1), replacing any worn outdoor furniture (Item # 3), and recleaning the outdoor grill (Item # 5) as we will send a cleaner back to a property to clean anything that is missed, however, again, the guest did not communicate this issue. The last item mentioned by the guest is a home audio system that we do not in fact advertise, but had the guest contacted us during their stay we would have happily dropped off a Bluetooth tower speaker for their use. We are very clear in our check-in procedure that we are located just blocks from the house and we are more than happy to respond to any and all of our guests' needs. Virtually all of our guests do just that. This is exactly why so many of our reviews (including this review) state that we give our Guests 5-Star Service. This guest recognized that we do give 5-Star service and then chose not to communicate. We respect the fact that guests do not want contact (especially during COVID-19) but nearly all the items listed above involved touchless drop off items or just a return text from us regarding where to look for the item. We can and will do everything for our guests if they let us know what they need but unfortunately, it is impossible to do this if they do not text or call us during their stay and only tell us for the first time after they have departed.

Thank you for letting us know that the coffee maker leaked so that we could replace it within 60 minutes of you notifying us. We really appreciate guests like you that allow us to put our 5 Star Customer Service to the test.
