Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. “Great spot in a pretty village. Lovely countryside and neighbouring villages surrounding. Secure parking. Handy for Gloucester. Reasonably priced. Good pub nearby.

Room was charming and well equipped, although it could benefit from the one thing I couldn't find...a fan. Very warm in the elevated annexe in the summer.
