“I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years (starting back in the 1990s), including before it became a Red Roof Inn (it used to be a "mom and pop" called the Herkimer Motel). It has always been well maintained, and its an affordable place to stay in the area, I use it as a jumping off point to go to Glimmerglass Opera and Cooperstown. “This hotel was very nice. The rooms were very convenient and we had a handicap room for my father who is in a deities and it was nice. Unfortunately the shower was a bit of a problem because water spilled out all over the floor. It was a walk-in shower. The shower needed a lip around it. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. My parents appreciated the shuttle service that was free to the casino nearby.”
