Hotel a Simonton Lake

“Excellent hotel and convenient location.”

“The hotel room was very nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. What I don’t appreciate is the housekeeping people waking us up on the last day. Check out is noon and we had the do not disturb sign outside the door but housekeeping knocked at 9:15 and woke us up. I told the man we are staying until checkout. Yet he came back a little after 11 and knocked again. There should be better coordination so housekeeping knows when a person has left or at the very least, honor the do not disturb sign until...

“I was in a bind and had to book at room at this place. I paid $482 for a night (surge pricing) and ended up not staying because it was not clean. The bathroom in lobby said out of use, yet as I waited and rang the bell, the staff member came out of the bathroom. What? Out of order but he comes out. Hotel room toilet had something sketchy and hotel in general had a bad odor. We did not stay but didn't get a refund.”

“Room was clean. I didn’t realize it was a hotel. Not motel. Ice was a bit if a walk. There are laundry facilities, but I didn’t use them. Didn’t make it to breakfast. I don’t walk that well and we would have had to drive to it.”

“One of my rooms had an unflushed toilet, and the refrigerator constantly made noise and one of the dresser drawers would not close Room 218. The gentleman that checked us in was rude. I didn’t know how the pay worked with the rooms and he got short with me about it.”

“Only concern was the mini fridge leaked from the bottom when used, we put towels down to prevent it from spreading but everything else was great”

“This motel was easy to find and plenty of parking. a lot of good restaurants in area, Cracker Barrel, Perkins, Steak & Shake, otyhers. A great welcome by Tim and he was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was excellent. I've stayed here 3 times and like La Quinta in any city but the reason I pick this motel is the breakfast which is usually excellent but this time the breakfast was good but cold, so a time in the microwave was necessary, Scramble eggs,...
