“The views were absolutely stunning. The property was extremely peaceful and calming. The beds were very comfortable and the unit in general superseded our expectations. The host was tremendously communicative and set us up for a lovey, peaceful, and relaxing stay! ”

“The location was great! The view and the ambience made the stay worth it. However, I'd say he cabin needs a good pest treatment. While spiders and bugs are acceptable in the hinterlands, we've seen cockroaches of various sizes.”

“Fully renovated rooms above the bar and bistro in the centre of town. Parking at rear could be a problem but we snared the last spot at the time on arrival. Staff were most helpful and changed our allicated riom to the rear and not above the bar. Most appreciated. Good use of space in rooms with kitchenette facilities including stovetop hotplates but no utensils for their use. Good ensuite space. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great bar and bistro downstairs for an easy relaxing evening.”

“Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. “Staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to a larger apartment. We only stayed one night but the kids were very appreciative not to all be in 1 room. The apartment was spacious, clean & quiet. There was plenty of parking and all the plants & birds made it feel homely.”

“Well-appointed, comfortable cabin in a lovely setting. Interior is spacious with kitchen area separated from living area and bedroom. Bathroom is a bit cramped with cabinet overshadowing the sink. Furnishings are in excellent condition and comfortable. Interesting art work on the walls. ”
