“I got a great welcome from the Lady at Reception and check in was easy. The room had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. It was very clean and the room service every day was welcome. I really appreciate the cleaning staff restocking coffee and milk when needed and making the bed. The bed was very comfortable. Good size bathroom and plenty of hot water. “The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. “A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful.”
