“I stayed for three weeks to visit family, and I chose the Travelodge because it was so close to them. But generally speaking the location cannot be beat, the hotel is mere steps from the underground and Balham is a wonderful base for a London visit, with loads of shops and great restaurants. The hotel caters mainly to short stays of 1-2 nights, but once I settled in things went well. Staff is available around the clock, when I had to ask for help it was given.
On the down side, there is no AC...

“GROUND FLOOR WINDOW PRIVACY - Room totally as expected, no issue. However we were staying in a ground floor room and there were no net curtains or a window privacy film so we had to have the curtains shut during day light.”

“Hotel is adequate, location is great. Staff mixed, First Lady on reception could not do enough to assist, the lady in the second day was not the same. The breakfast was poor,”

“Struttura ben tenuta con personale gentile e attento. A dieci minuti dalla stazione metro più vicina e a pochi passi dalla Torre di Londra ed il Tower Bridge. Unico neo è che la struttura è situata a ridosso dei binari ferroviari e la nostra stanza era prospiciente ai binari quindi si è sentito il passaggio dei treni durante la notte. Consiglio quindi di accertarsi che la stanza non si affacci sulla ferrovia.”

“Not a very good environment. People staying there seem to be living in the hotel. There is no AC and the rooms and corridors have a very bad smell. No suitable, especially not for the price.”
