“We’ve been through Glenwood Springs a few times. This time we decided to stay at Hotel Colorado. We so enjoyed the history of the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with how modern the amenities were in our room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner perfect. We loved being in easy walking distance to the historic downtown part of town. And we highly recommend the outdoor evening dining room patio and the Adirondack chairs with a beverage watching the thunderstorms roll in! Looking...

“We enjoyed our stay in one of the suites. We had fun using the waterslide, hot tub, and pool. Breakfast was pretty basic continental offerings with juice, coffee, waffle maker, sausage, eggs, muffins, cereal, a yogurt dispenser, fruit, etc. Our room and the hotel were clean and had all the basic amenities. “We were excited to stay at the bed and breakfast. Had an emergency and was hoping to postpone however owner didn't allow so we stayed for one night and lost money on the second night by leaving early. The bed and breakfast doesn't have air conditioning and it was very warm. The small swamp cooler in the window didn't cool the very small room down. “There was a 2 bed, 2 bath option which worked out for our family + Mother In-Law very well. On-line description did not do this suite justice as I thought it was a 2 bed, 1 bath, so I was pleasantly surprised. Bathroom could have been cleaner- but I am meticulous when I clean so my standards are pretty high. Breakfast was a huge plus- oatmeal was very watery one day, condiments were a little inconsistent- Honey was available one day for oatmeal and not the next etc...”

“One & done. It wasn’t very clean. This location does not have an elevator. The carpet on the stairs was icky with food and crumbs all over. Our room had an old musky/smoke smell to it. The phone in the room was sticky and the remote didn’t work. We walked down the hallway and there was dog pee in front of a nearby room that was never cleaned up. The pool looked like a crime scene.
