Hotel in zona South End, Wrightsville Beach

“Regrettably, stayed only one night, as I came down with a viral respiratory infection and had to return home. Staff kindly worked quickly to refund my remaining balance paid. NO fun to be sick @ the beach and waste money for nothing... horrible congestion & no appetite, so decided to "cut my losses." Will return in July & October for additional weeks. Room was great and spotless, though minimally used.”

“The condo I stayed in was in desperate need of an update. In top of the furniture being old and worn out, the bed sounded like a spring was going to come through at any moment. The kitchen didn’t have any silverware. The TV did not have a remote. Hopefully I just had an old unit and others have been updated”

“The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The room was modern and very comfortable. The downside was that loud music was playing for several hours in the pool area. We finally called the front desk at 1am about it. The staff said that they had not been able to hear it from inside. They were apologetic and took care of it immediately. Just wish we had called down sooner. Overall a good stay.”

“The Oceaneer surprised us in many ways. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and the property is exceptionally clean. The recent renovation gives the place a very modern feel. They did an excellent job transforming the old motel rooms into cozy, contemporary spaces with a nicely updated bathroom and shower. They even managed to fit a small sofa into the room. (The only slightly odd thing was that the table was bolted to the floor and couldn’t be moved.) The A/C...

“The Silver Gull isn’t the newest or fanciest place at Wrightsville Beach but, it’s centrally located, very clean and better amenities than you might expect for the price. I.e. covered, free, parking and an elevator. This was a treat considering there are only three floors! The staff is very friendly and responsive to requests. MH, Raleigh, NC”

“I was relocated to this hotel. I was placed in a handicapped room. The air conditioner was so loud that it was extremely hard to sleep. My room was facing the the road. So between the road and the loud air conditioner it was hard to sleep. No food could be offered at the restaurant because a soccer team was in town and overwhelmed the place the night before. The room had a funny smell. It was my birthday and I was celebrating but unfortunately my stay was less than basic. Ruined my solo birthday...
