“We chose Carnmore as we needed to be near the hospital, but the location offered much more than that with the beach a 2-minute walk away in a pleasant neighbourhood, and cafés not too much further. Easy and secure parking, clean modern rooms and a quick check-in made it a great stay. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked great. ”

“We’ve stayed here regularly and it’s been ok. Unfortunately this time it was too disgusting to stay. Cockroaches, used toothpick next to the bed, dirty socks left behind. A musky smell in the room. We didn’t even stay one night. When we tried to communicate this at check out on Friday night, where we handed in the key, we unfortunately had a very disinterested person on the desk who told us to have a good day 🙄 we’re not after a refund, just letting the motel know. “Oddly, despite everything being quite clean, the first thing that happened was I stepped on a tooth on our floor in our room. So they lose points for that. But staff was helpful and they made sure i got my camera I'd left behind when checking out.”

“The room was ready when we arrived. Well stocked with tea, milk waiting us in yhe fridge. View of the water as promised. We were asked if we had a small car, just as well. Tight getting it into the space we were allocated due to the angles of that particular parking space. Staff were pleasant and great cafes nearby. Pool not open.”

“This hotel was perfect for my work trip to Akl. It had blinds that blocked all light, a super comfy bed, great shower, and was really quiet - these are my must haves for work travel. “Great location with spectacular views! Spotlessly clean and well appointed. On sunny days, the west bedroom gets rather warm but the fans helped! We loved this spot as a hub for our Auckland days.”
