“Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Building has a small pool and gym/workout room. Convenient location. Hotel has a free shuttle to local businesses. McDonalds/gas station/convenience store located next door. Free breakfast including eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc.”

“This is an interesting historic hotel but don’t get a small double bed room - too small. The shower was as small as a camper shower.”

“The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is a hidden gem in the mountains.”

“On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the property was well maintained—mostly. On the “needs improvement” side, the hot tub was broken and when we asked a housekeeper about it, she responded “long time”. The breakfast was nicely complete but needs to be replenished in a more timely manner and the tables need to be cleaned more often.”

“Beautiful setting and views. Stayed in a standard king room. Spacious and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. Pillows were excellent but he mattress could use an upgrade. The room and building is nicely maintained but looks like it's due for a complete paint refresh inside and out. We didn't use the pool or anything on the grounds but it all looked wonderful. “Paul was a great host. Showed us around the property and our room. Was very polite and welcoming. This is a very quite place and perfect for a couples get away. We had the tower room which has a whirl pool at the top. Me and my wife loved this place. The property has a gazebo, fire place and a small pond with waterfall. Wry relaxing”

“The breakfast and service were great. The house and rooms were clean.I would have liked more than one bottle of water per person for a two night stay. The hot tea,coffee and cookies were nice but there weren’t mugs to use.”
