My niece's (14 & 15 years old) wanted to swim and the pool closed at 8pm, which made them unable to use it. Front desk agent was very friendly about informing us when we were heading that way. Would have liked to know the pool hours in advance but everything else was good.”

“Easy to access hotel. Plenty of parking. Older hotel so you’re going to see signs of it. I had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk to check in. Our door would not close properly so we had to push/pull it hard to open and close it. You could tell when we were coming and going because it made a lot of noise. Walked into the hallway on the 2nd day to the smell of weed. Breakfast was pretty basic each day. The pool was open and the gym was ok for what I needed. Staff was...

“The outdoor of the property was very clean. Except for my room it had a very high smell of urine and dog hairs on the carpet. Also one of The under cupboard handle was broken. I spoke to a young man by the front desk and he says he would have sent a maintenance man but no one came.. house keeping cleaned the room on the second day a the high urine spell wasn’t as high anymore. Other than that the hotel was ok.”

“First of all the staff at this location are top notch! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance to the breakfast staff. Bravo! The rooms are cozy, cool and relaxing. The amenities are well maintained and there are plenty of them if you want to use the. The sitting areas are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on it to keep it clean and things refilled. Overall for an older building this is an excellent choice when in Charleston. Its well located...

“Our trash was emptied everyday. Our towels were replaced daily. Our bed was made daily. Breakfast was sausage, eggs, and pancakes every day. The staff was so friendly and helpfull. We were so surprised at how clean and fresh smelling our room was.”
