“We purchased the room through Expedia, and upon entering the room we encountered ROACHES!!!!! I pulled back the bed sheets and the bed was NASTY, I mean totally DISGUSTING!!! I took pictures of the ROACHES & NASTY BED!!! I returned to the office and showed the manager the pictures, and demanded a refund!!!! I was told that I needed to get with EXPEDIA!”

“Rooms were dirty. Doors falling off hinges, hand prints on headboard, dirty bath tub………..”

“As soon as we walked it several roaches crawled across our floor. Went to front desk and nobody answered. The furniture was also broken and damaged. And the shower was horrible. Hotel looks nothing like the photos. WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN!!”

“This is an old boarding house with great history. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. A code is given to get into the front door and for your assigned room. We did have problems getting into our room but once i figured out who to call, she took care of it quick. Very close to Back Woods . ”

“didn't like anything about the property. It took us 3 rooms until we finally got one that was acceptable. The first room was supposed to be handicapped but it wasn't and had a lot of mold on the bathroom wall. The sink in the second room didn't drain. All around the outside there was cracked cement, rust and unpainted surfaces. The so-called breakfast had apples that looked like they were from last fall. The only good thing was that the desk clerk, Dora, did her best to accommodate us.”

“We had a great stay here. It is a breathtaking property! I live in New Orleans and have never seen this much Spanish Moss in my life. The finishes in the cabins are gorgeous and the little backyard with a hot tub and string lights was awesome. The resident outdoor kitties were the highlight, though!”

“This was probably one of the worst hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel smells like the marijuana is coming through the vents. The room I was in was completely filthy. There was looks like to be a dried drink stain all over the wall. There was a sheet underneath the bed that was dirty. There’s people constantly standing outside very sketchy place will never stay again or recommend to anyone”
