Hotel a Hemingway

“This is an old boarding house with great history. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. A code is given to get into the front door and for your assigned room. We did have problems getting into our room but once i figured out who to call, she took care of it quick. Very close to Back Woods . ”

“The breakfast left much to be desired. Prepared foods are nice, but some of them when reconstituted were not all that good. In addition, the air conditioner in room 209 did not always work. It would shut off in the middle of the night, leaving the room, very stale”

“Charming beachside hotel with the pier right out the front door! Can’t get much closer to the beach than that. Multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance, seaside vibes for sure. Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, ample parking, friendly staff.”

“Room upon check in: dirty sheets, had to change them ourselves. Crazy thing is, I wonder how long the out of order and renovation sorry for the inconvenience flyers have been posted. Staff: lazy but informative since I was handed a plunger & had to plunge a toilet that no one staying with me clogged. Parking: extremely unsafe, multiple homeless or drug addicts smoking at the entrance under the awning or just aimlessly wondering around. I say this in the nicest way possible but they never came...

“The staff were absolutely amazing! Every one of them we encountered! The room was clean and the AC worked well. Breakfast was okay. Lots of variety and loved the mini waffle option. Our room was directly above the front door which was automatic so it was pretty loud when it opened and closed but that was our only issue.”

“Upon arrival I was told that a deposit was required and it would be returned at checkout. due to late time, I paid the deposit. The next morning at checkout I was told it would be five days before the deposit would be returned. What a rip off!”

“We had a great time at his resort for a short stay with the family. The kids, especially loved the pool. Also, we loved the access to the beach and the view was breathtaking! The rooms were nice and clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. We will definitely be returning to this location for any future vacations.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights as what one would call a “staycation”. The hotel itself is located in a rather industrial area, certainly not the prettiest area to look at, but it was easy to locate & parking was abundant. I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff, Micaela, who was AMAZING!
