Hotel a Stonefort

“I booked this because it had amazing reviews. I assume friends wrote reviews for them.Upon arrival my husband said "What did you do?" Who I assume were the owners were a very nice couple but the property seemed to have had paint put on an extremely run down property. Seemed like they really TRIED to clean up but the peeling paint on ceiling and light showing under door with EXTREMELY old,LOUD AC made us uneasy to give it a chance. I went back and respectfully told them we would not be staying...

“It was ideal for our trip. It was close to were our activities and dining”

“The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. Great variety for breakfast.”

“No bugs that I seen… floor was still wet when we got into our room which was nice cuz we knew it was clean… but did have some pulling paint and door frame didn’t cover the gaps from the wall”

“Confusion on registering, took 20 minutes to register for a room we had already confirmed. The elevator was not working, but not much effort seemed to be made to have someone fix it. Room was adequate, breakfast was OK. Not the best experience.”

“We were sleeping at 11pm and a couple broke into our room. They had a door jimmy and forced it open. We woke up and they ran away Almost got robbed!”

“I want to give this a better rating, but that would be dishonest. In my opinion, this facility is definitely one to stay at if you are looking for bare minimum, a place to sleep and move on. Bring your own breakfast or stop at McDonald's nearby. Additionally, there is no elevator but the staff was accommodating and gave us a room on the first floor. This is an "okay" place for a night.”
