“Parking lot had several work trucks with men hanging out there drinking til about midnight. They weren’t loud just something to note. And the ice machines said “out of season” so that was a little inconvenient. Pool, I can understand but an ice machine? Over all a solid place, would stay again”

“We could hear water running somewhere in the bathroom in the first room we were given. It wasn't the toilet and you could hear it even with the bathroom door closed. Second room: staff member put us next door - same thing. Third room: asked him to put us on the 2nd floor away from the other rooms. Opened the door and heard the smoke alarm chirp (low battery). We were going to just remove the battery, then saw a live bug just above it on the wall. Decided to check for more and found a dead one on...

“We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range...
