Hotel a Brandy Station

“This hotel is disgusting. There was hair everywhere, mold growing in the walls, a leaking shower that left nasty brown stains in the tub, food and other substances on the wall, peeling paint, open space between the door and frame, yellow and brown stains on the mattress cover, and an awful smell of mold and a lingering musty odor. We did not stay and checked out immediately. The hotel wouldn't refund us for the stay despite the unsanitary conditions and we are out of the money for this hotel as...

“We chose a king suite on the third floor. I am really critical about cleanliness, but I’ll have to say this room was spotless. The makeover that they did in March is just beautiful. I felt very comfortable in this room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were very helpful. And the breakfast was much more than we expected. The only thing that made us somewhat uncomfortable was the hotel next-door. There were some pretty sketchy people in their parking lot, but definitely no reflection...

“For check in they send you an email with the code to the entrance door and your room. Be on the look out for that. Parking is tricky. There is a public parking lot behind the the property that allows three hour parking during the weekday, unlimited during the weekend. Rooms are chic, well maintained, clean. Lots of shopping and fantastic restaurants in walking distance.”

“Room and bathroom were dirty. Cobwebs and diet everywhere in the room. Toilet seat was broken and the toilet needed cleaning. Repairs made to the room were very badly done. Dog constantly barked. Room doors do not shut properly so they have to be slammed. Slamming was heard during the whole stay. Staff are friendly and Continental breakfast was appreciated.”

“Had high expectations for this stay, first the good, staff, and I mean the single concierge on property was very kind, helpful and super courteous. Very nice young man.The main building has a nice early century feel dating back 300 years of history. Our complaint is with the room itself, it’s not well appointed, the bed sheets and pillows are OK but the bed is worn out and stiff ( you can feel the springs). I have the custom of rating cleanes buy the bathroom and must say that having black mold...
