“Great experience”

“The hotel, room, and staff were all good. The best part of this hotel was how calm and quiet our room was. We weren't the only people at the hotel, but perhaps we were the only ones on the third floor. I'm not sure, but either way I appreciated the peace and quiet. Now onto the bad part. This hotel must have previously been a smokers hotel, because the entire building reeks of tobacco smoke. You get used to it after a day or so, but if you can't acclimate to the smell then you seriously need to...

“It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired.”

“Did not bring towels or take trash on a regular basis for a week long stay. Also, front desk staff was always on the phone and inconvenienced when asked for something. However, room was decent and breakfast was decent as well.”

“An older Inn. No fridge and no microwave”

“Clean enough for a cheap overnight. Problem was none of the drains were draining properly. Bathtub filled up while showering, and sink filled up anytime it was used.”

“Loved the two days we spent here. Very good home-cooked breakfast, nice rustic cozy room with fireplace, two person jacuzzi. Just a very nice overall experience. The host is very friendly and informative.”

“For a basic motel, the accommodations were as expected. Clean room, very basic amenities that were adequate. No bugs which is definitely a positive! For the cost we were satisfied.”

“The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too.”

“The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot.”

“We stayed at the Showers Inn on June 15, 2026. We arrived late but they had a note how to access our room. The parking was adequate, always a concern at a B&B in a residential neighborhood. The room was pleasant and comfortable. In fact, we thought highly of the room accommodations. At breakfast the next morning was when our stay turned bad.
