“A great experience for us staying in a houseboat at Island harbour, a tranquil area of the Isle of Wight, makes for a relaxing stay but in easy reach of the rest of the Island. On one of our days there we had friends over for dinner and due to the sunny positioning of the bi-fold doors, we could open these to the full extent, sit out and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. “This was such a wonderful and unique way to spend a few nights in London - both the narrowboat itself and the location. Staying on the water is a world apart from any hotel experience, The rustic charms and quirks of narrowboat living and the sense of community with other boat dwellers made it special.
