“The Plough is in a very picturesque area and is also very conveniently situated and easy to get to. The room was comfortable and the pub itself had a friendly feel with an excellent menu. Beside quite a busy road but it was quiet at night. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. ”

“Great night at the inn. Our room was at the back overlooking the beer garden. Was very quiet at the inn so no noise outside during evening. Sliding door if ensuite entrance needs some serious lubrication. Staff were super friendly and food was excellent”

“This is an unusual format for a hotel but it works very well. Some of the single rooms have dedicated private bath/shower rooms separate from their bedroom with personal key. I was travelling ight and I really appreciated the dressing gown which came with the room. The breakfast room was bright and the service matched it. The railway station is quite close and the town centre lues just beyond it, all downhill so a taxi back may be a comfortabe option. i found the staff veary helpful. ”

“Our host had lots of helpful information at the ready upon arrival and the space was well decorated and in great condition. A GREAT spot to stay!”

“Very clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Didn’t have dinner but the restaurant looked inviting and the old mill mechanism was very interesting. The pebbles on the pathway leading to the bedrooms made wheeling suitcases difficult but we got help from a staff member who carried them to our car.”
