“Unfortunately the house has seen better times, the flooring is in a bad state of of repair, sockets hanging of the walls and what looks like telephone cables loose and not connected, luckily we did not have young children with us otherwise I would have said unsafe. There was no heating or hot water in the property and whilst the host offered to get someone in on the 2nd night there was still no hot water which meant the family had to find alternatives. “Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer. ”

The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner.
