“In the photos it looked larger and less like an Ikea showroom. Somehow, they squeezed a queen bed into a bedroom so tiny that we couldn't get our suitcase into it. The neighborhood is awful -- you can't get anything without driving, and it's a decent drive to get to hip areas in West Seattle. Given the weather, we never could use the deck and outdoor space. ”

“We had an amazing experience at the Boathouse. The water views are unsurpassed and we even saw bald eagles circling above the bay. Everything is so wonderfully comfortable and furnished so well that it was hard to leave. You can take wonderful walks in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood or along the beach. “Don’t be fooled, this is not a “suite”, it is a tiny room with a bathroom. The property is a large “home” with multiple different rooms and paper thin walls, so if you’re lucky like us you might get another guest who likes to slam the fridge door, microwave, or their shower door at 2am. Also note that the kitchen is a shared kitchen, which has limited mentions in the description, so this is not exactly a private stay. The kitchen had an odd smell, from everyone’s food and the free street parking...

“This place is in a beautiful area and easy to get around. It was very clean and cute. I loved waking up and looking at the forestry area across the street. Communication is top notch! I did have issues with the stairs, but that not their issue. I would recommend that if you are not a couple you get seperate rooms. Even then, it is cheaper than a hotel. I would stay there again! ”
