“This motel was clean. There are two levels with no elevator. This was difficult with my elderly mother. The outdoor fire was not working and our bathtub lever was broken. These were reported to the staff. They seemed receptive. The breakfast was basic. Walking distance of an excellent coffeehouse called Realfine. I would also recommend West Side of Chicago pizza that is two blocks away. Neighborhood seemed safe.”

“What a wonderful stay. The host was communicative. The house was clean and tidy and in a great location. It was close to shopping and transportation. An added bonus was the charming garden. I would definitely stay here again.”

It was the perfect size for our family of four (2 adults & 2 kids) it didn’t feel too cramped. The place was clean & neat and provided everything you could think of or would need for a stay. “Great location - an easy walk to the beach!”

“What a phenomenal place to stay! We wished we could’ve stayed longer! We enjoyed the bomb shelter the first night, having snacks, listening to records, and just chatting and laughing. The kitchen is perfectly appointed with everything needed. The bed looks to be a California King and was super comfortable. “The process was very simple and the communication was as expected. No problems. The property did the job but didn't wow us. Dated and marginally provisioned. The window coverings throughout were fine but not darkening, and the bedroom was way too bright in the morning. It actually has two bedrooms, one of which had a very comfortable bed, the other not so much. Also, no TV's in the bedrooms, which would have been nice for settling in after a long day.Again, overall OK, not great.”
