“Good staff and family friendly ”

“Thank you to the staff at The Hampton. We were traveling from out of state for a concert. We were greeted at the front desk by a wonderful woman who was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel and room were very clean, the beds were comfortable. There was a hot breakfast every morning with a nice variety of options. The hotel has several restaurants In waking distance. The parking lot was well lit and secure. There is a nice pool there as well. The room had everything we needed. I...

“I booked this hotel months in advance as I was travelling from another country. The hotel called me the day of my arrival (6 hours before check in) and told me they’re cancelling my room because they over booked the hotel. The person on the phone was extremely rude and gave nothing but attitude towards me while I was trying to figure out my next move as I was in the middle of my travel to this location. Totally unprofessional and would never recommend this hotel to anybody as it’s extremely...

“The room was clean, bedding and linen were great. The windows were painted over with an opaque paint, so you couldn't see anything outside, which was very strange. The hotel itself was in a great location close to the airport and easy on access to the freeways heading into downtown Cleveland. Their free breakfast was the best. Good selection of pancakes, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt and then hot food of eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, etc. Also great hot coffee. I enjoyed my stay. ”

“The elevator was very slow but they are working on them, great location for downtown! Perfect for sports events!”

“There was visible mice crawling around in the lobby of the hotel. Countless stains on the carpet in the hallways. The floor tiles were peeling and loose. The room was run down with stains over the chairs, leftover hair in the bathroom, fuzz on the glass, and food crumbs on the tables. If I were Hilton, I wouldn’t want my name on this place. ”

“First room they sent us to the bed wasn’t made. Second room it turned out the toilet was plugged and there was poop on the lid. Going from the registration desk to the elevator was weird. There were no lights turned on. The card readers to get in exterior doors didn’t work. The grass was knee high. You could tell it had been nice place once upon a time. Those days are gone and the place needs some TLC.”

“Room was great! Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. But the walls are paper thin and most rooms have adjoining doors and we could hear every word and move by the people next door. Other than that it was a good stay!”
