“The outside is beautiful. Rooms need updating and property offers bowling for a fee!!!! $30 for 1 hr+ cost of shoe rental, why stay on a resort when nothing is included! Playground is small!!! My kids were not amused and they are 6 & 9. They only have one small basket ball court. They were so pushy at check in wouldn’t even release our keys without trying to get us scheduled for a time share we drive over 4 hrs with 2 children on being autistic we were ready to get our key and go to the room....

“The staff were always friendly. That is the one plus for this property. It is apparent as soon as you step out of the lobby just how dated this property is. I would absolutely forgive that if the room was good. Our room was clean, however, we were immediately hit with a damp, musty smell. Our room maintained that smell the entire two night stay. “Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!”

I literally found a large, dead roach right by the foot of the bed upon check-in -- how was this missed by housekeeping? The tvs and remotes were very difficult to navigate and internet slow.
