Cabina di lusso con fascino vintage, Walk to Beach & Sunnyside Resort, Dog Friendly!

Questa bellissima cabina di lusso "Old Tahoe Style" sulla sponda occidentale del lago Tahoe è speciale. La cabina privata dorme 1-3 e si trova molto vicino al Lago Tahoe. Si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal Tahoe Park di 3 acri di fronte al lago adiacente al Sunnyside Resort, dove si può godere della spiaggia, dei moli di acque profonde, dei bellissimi prati, parco giochi, pallavolo, ferro di cavallo e attrezzature da picnic. Noleggia biciclette o stand-up paddle board nelle vicinanze. Questa splendida struttura a West Shore si trova vicino alla pista ciclabile e si trova a 2 miglia di distanza in auto da Tahoe City. Inoltre, potrete gustare Firesign Café (probabilmente la migliore colazione sul lago) e West Shore Market & Deli.
In inverno, sei a soli tre chilometri dalla stazione sciistica di Homewood e facilmente raggiungibili in auto da Squaw Valley, Alpine e il Nordic Center.

Beautiful spot

Great place to stay! Cabin is so warm and inviting. It feels like you are in the trees! One couldn’t ask for a better location. Private beach, close to bike trails, restaurants. Host easy to communicate with and very helpful. Highly recommend a stay at Buckhorn cabin.

lovely cabin with lots of charm!

This is a lovely home, with everything you could need and a ton of charm. It much bigger than we anticipated - which was a huge plus. Its also conveniently situated close to Palisades and a short walk to lake access, a cute market/cafe, and a fabulous brunch spot. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it for others! Minor things we flagged for the homeowner (i) we struggled a bit with internet access and the host tried to help us troubleshoot the issue, eventually we worked at the cafe/market down the road; (ii) its worth noting that the bathroom and bedroom don't have doors, nor walls that fully extend to the ceiling so if you are using the sink in the restroom, you could hear it from the living room/bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us, but thought it was worth a mention. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back next year!

Perfect Location

Every aspect of our stay here was great. The beach access was very convenient, the nearby restaurants and shops were fantastic. The cabin was clean, in a nice neighborhood and a perfect space for my wife, dog and me.

Cozy place but needs attention

We enjoyed the location and cozy feel of the cabin. However, listing an electric “fireplace” that puts out no heat as a fireplace is quite a stretch. Kitchen was dirty, poorly organized and needs a thorough cleaning. Coffee maker had mildew in the tank and an old pod on arrival. Sink had food debris and the water only worked part of the time. Wifi did not work on the 5g we were told to use- we’re able up connect to main house in one area of the cabin. Overall a nice stay but this rental needs some love and attention to deserve the 5 star review the owner asks for. You could tell the place had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while- makes you wonder why we are paying a cleaning fee.

Great stay for ski weekend

Space was clean and heat worked well in the cabin. The place was easy to find and check in was perfect. We were not fully aware that the garage under the cabin would be in-use by the owners, but it was no problem at all. I would stay here again!

Great location

Located on the best part of Lake Tahoe (in my opinion) so close to so many activities. The cabin was great and the host was awesome. We arrived late at night and she still made sure we got checked in ok. Was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable charming cabin

The cabin is a very charming and comfortable space. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the cabin is comfortably furnished throughout. Could use a little TLC overall given age of property and usage, to really standout at 5 stars, but still is likely some cuts above most other rentals in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location and access to homeowner beach

My husband and I stayed for five nights over July 4th and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the cabin was great, and there is a comfy pull out bed (not shown) if you prefer separate beds. We had our dog who is a “leash” dog and be prepared, the neighborhood has quite a few off leash dogs. Everyone was very respectful of our dog on leash, however. The location to the private beach was awesome and we enjoyed the bike trail into town. Hope to stay at the cabin again!

Charming Loft Cabin

Great space for a single or couple! Nicely furnished, nice amenities, great light with high ceilings and skylights. Totally comfortable and close to beach and restaurants. Highly recommended! Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Tahoe at its best

This charming property is in the wonderful Tahoe Park neighborhood, amid tall pines and cedars and only a 5 minute walk to several excellent restaurants, a sports rental shop, a general store and a private beach at the lake. Tahoe City is 2 miles away. Carolyn has done a nice job of decorating the place in old tahoe style, and it was a very comfortable and quiet stay. Will definitely keep this place on our A list for future trips to the west shore.
