“I rated a 4 because you couldn’t get a better location. The beach is directly behind the condo, shops and restaurants are in walking distance, and if you had any questions the front desk was quick to respond. The cons: T he strong musty smelll in the condo, there are water stains on the couch, my son tired to sleep on the pull out sofabed and said there was a metal bar sticking in his back. We had some trouble with the toilet, We weren’t given enough towels for 4 nights, and the laundry they...

“Great place, very clean and the view was beautiful. Only downside was they only had 3 handicap spots and the paid parking was a very long walk. They had valet but we like to do it ourselves. They didn’t have enough bag carts and wanted to put you on a waiting list to get one. Also, only had elevators at one end of the resort and it was a very long walk to the gulf view rooms.”

“Good hotel with a side view of beach. They charged extra for breakfast and parking and did not have a coffee maker in the room or an alarm clock. Parking was very crowded with a lot small spaces designated for compact cars (duh) instead of a all standard size spaces. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. They are building a new hotel on the side so there will probably not be any more side beach view rooms after this year. All nearby restaurants were exorbitant with all but one place in gulf...

“We had an excellent experience at Island House Hotel last week! Traveling with two toddlers can be stressful, but the staff made everything so much easier and took a lot of that stress away. Housekeeping was amazing, the views were chef’s kiss, and don’t even get me started on the restaurant — absolutely perfect. We already can’t wait to come back next year!”

“Overall we had a nice stay. The room was clean, breakfast was good, although there were not very many choices. We didn't use the pool but it was clean and looked nice! Only 2 issues arose during our stay. 1) We stayed in a nonsmoking room and building, but the hallway REEKED of marijuana. The smell somehow got into our bathroom as well. 2) We paid a cash deposit that's to be refunded on checkout day, please be aware that if you do this, you cannot get it back until after 9am.
