“MY Family’s Experience: This place is not a family vacation spot! We arrived on the 15th and left early morning on the 16th!”

“Enjoyed our stay. Close to town. Safe location.”

“The room was great, amenities were more than enough, staff was super friendly and really made the experience of staying there even better. Can’t forget to mention the rooftop pool being so amazing! Absolutely loved our stay.”

“We enjoyed 3 nights at Del Sol. We loved being right on the beach and the easy walk to town of Akumal. Hope to return to Akumal again. The host was extremely helpful and on site support were very attentive whenever we needed anything. Overall great stay!!”

“It was overall an excellent experience. The condos, quaint and beautiful. The views are spectacular the hospitality the friendliness and the surrounding area is top notch. We felt safe the entire time. Highly recommend it.”

“Nice!!!”

“The view from this condo is absolutely beautiful!! And the cleanliness was outstanding! Unfortunately, storms have caused serious beach erosion so there really was no beach & the sargassum was so bad that you couldnt swim for several days. However, there are several cenotes nearby to swim in. We did have problems with the internet, which seemed better after the technician showed up. Unfortunately, the property manager was not all that helpful, & some of the condo owners seemed off put by...

“Beautiful property, just like the photos, fantastic views. Gina was helpful and responded to all our questions. Property was cleaned every day which was a nice bonus. Pity about the sargussum but this is global warming. Restaurants easily walkable to great place to chill.”

“The place was peaceful and relaxing. Neighborhood was perfect for my family. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of food.”

“The view is simply amazing! The neighborhood around the condo is calm and walkable with a few good restaurants within a short stroll. We loved it!”

“Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Tony makes you feel right at home. We had a wonderful stay. The perfect getaway. Restaurant next door is good too. ”

“The property was clean, safe and in a quiet area. We liked the food options and grocery store. The host was very responsive and helpful.”

“Thanks a lot Julia, you are a very nice and generous person!”

“We absolutely loved staying at Villas DeRosa!! The owners were so easy going and helpful. They answered questions immediately. Our luggage got lost and Tony called the local airline for us to assist (as we dont speak Spanish). We had the bottom floor that walked out to the beach, which we loved. Plus it kept the unit cool. The AC in the bedroom worked great and we never got hot at night. Housekeeping was impressive too. Clean linens every day and we never had sand on our floors. Appliances in...

“Not outstanding, just a fair place to stay. A 2 bed 2 bath condo is about the same price as this one bed, one bath suite after all the fees and taxes are added to the final cost. Unable to negotiate price per night with owner. Bed very comfortable, toilet needs fixed, maid service was excellent, kitchen offered the bare minimum utensils for making meals. Plan to eat out because of this. Refrigerator makes constant noise. Coffee pot had to be “programmed “ in order to brew. Confusing to us so we...

“Went on a girls trip to truly disconnect from reality, and I can honestly say this place hit every single spot we needed. Beautiful and peaceful. All you heard were the birds . Also loved that you could use the bikes to get around!! ”

“Condo had everything I needed to cook & all in working order, even forced exersize being on the 4th floor ,with beautiful morning sunrises & nice breezes through out. I had a hard time as a senior seeing where the steps in condo changed as the tile is all the same- Suggest a stripe of black/ brown at edge of steps. Also would be great to have a lounger bed/ chair out at right side of deck to relax. Bed was very comfy. Great location walkable to everything in Halfmoon bay. Weather was perfect to...
