Hotel a Vallecito

“Great location and friendly staff. Did not use amenities, but there is coffee/snacks available in lobby, a meditation room and a nice firepit area if you enjoy sitting outside in the evenings. They also have EV charging stations. We stayed in May in an upstairs room with a king bed. The room is comfortable and came with a mini fridge and coffee/tea maker. It is mostly designed for winter use with trays for wet boots, a ski rack and places to hang winter coats/gear. We would definitely stay there...

“The property is beautiful and they have great amenities but the staff at the Players Club and the restaurant were just plain rude. The grill staff hostess wouldn’t even come by to seat us. It was only 8 pm and they posted open until 10! They just would look then turn away. We left because no one would seat us. Then the girls at the cafe barely responded to questions. Food was premade so the sandwich was soggy and the bun tough yet wet. The guy working the players club was just sarcastic and...

“Just to have a little more careful about the hallways”

“Clean room. Friendly staff. Bathroom was dated but I think they are in the process of remodeling. I would stay there again. Great off leash dog park about 4 miles away ”

“Cute renovated motel. Super clean facility and room. Not much parking since we had a trailer but able to park behind the motel and felt secure! Friendly staff!”

“First and foremost, the hostess was great. Very helpful. We slept good and Comfortably. Secondly, we had a very very bad check in. We arrived late and the office was closed. There's an ON CALL # that was posted on the front door for LATE checkins. I repeatedly called the # and left voicemails. No answer. My son an I spent our first paid night in the truck. I wasn't able to be checked in until the next morning.”

“Our stay at The Durango Lodge was great. We were only there for one night so did not experience the pool or breakfast but they looked nice. My favorite thing about the Durango Lodge is the location, it is close to everything so we walked all over downtown and didn't need to drive anywhere. Also, the room we booked was so perfect! “Could not even spend the night there. We had to get another hotel. It was worth paying for 2 hotels just to not stay at this run down, dirty looking property. The price is NOT worth it! And the pictures did not show the accuracy of the property. ”
