“Lovely quiet village not far from Thirsk and the A1(M). A friendly welcome and a clean comfortable room. We booked for dinner and the food was delicious and service equally friendly. A 10 minute walk after dinner to the abbey ruins down the road was a nice surprise. Great bed and tasty breakfast. All in all an enjoyable place to stop over on the way up to the Lake District. Only down side was that we couldn't connect to their internet.”

“Really nice stylish hotel with lovely staff and facilities. Because of a delay we arrived at the hotel after the cut off for breakfast but they went out of their way to get us a bite to eat,only a bacon bun but much appreciated. ”

“A bit of a hidden gem. Really nice facilities, with the outdoor pool a real plus. The weather being nice definitely helped. Would recommend and great value for money.
You can really tell the people that work here care about the service they provide. This comes across well and lead to a great break for us”

So stress free excellent service and experience 👍”
