Hotel a Wayside

“We had one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel that we’ve ever had. We were especially impressed with Tiara and how helpful and accommodating she was during our stay. A real standout!”

“Room was clean but after I was given the ok to check in a little later than 3, we arrived and had to wait an additional 30 minutes because the room wasn't clean yet. Then on 2 separate occasions we tried to use the pool and it was out of order. Then I was given a price on Expedia and charged nearly double after the stay.”

“Pool was closed due to poor water quality for the extent of our stay without signage or explanation. Breakfast was reserved for teams over the weekend and on Monday was not included, $2.99 per item. Not as described, extremely overpriced for what it was. Will not be back.”

“We did end up having to switch at midnight due to a problem with the a/c. Our initial room was clean and updated, and the a/c had worked when we first arrived. We had then went out and came back to the a/c not working. The emergency move room was not very clean at all. The floors had not been mopped in quite some time and you definitely could tell. The second room also looked like it was still being worked on. Unfortunately there were no other options at that time. I was relieved that it was...

“I have been to this location/hotel several times and we really like it here. Its only 3 miles to the beach,its clean,they have a great breakfast and free bottled water at the desk. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is super comfortable with a nice size tv. This is our go to jersey shore hotel”

“Great Hotel! Clean, new, smelled amazing as soon as you walk in! Room was quite large and had great amenities!! 2 great lounge areas to chill. Nice little indoor Pool. Breakfast was a buffet, there was a minimal charge. Great front lobby as well!”

“The room was clean and the staff were great. The only problem was the air conditioner in the room that made a lot of noise which did not let us sleep and we could not shut it down since it was hot. Something needs to be done.”

“ROACHES! We stayed for only one night as it was the only hotel available. It was definitely run down and dirty. When we woke up, there were at least 6 dead roaches on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom. When we told the site manager the next morning at check out he basically said they never had that issue but when I showed him a picture, he changed his story and said it was because of the heat. Don't recommend.”
