“Stayed here for the first time 14 March oh my what a treat. We stayed in the James Herriot room and it’s the little details such as a piece of cake a glass of port and the accessories were in keeping with the great man himself all very well thought out. We dined that evening and we were not disappointed the food was exceptional and well executed. A warm and welcoming experience by staff who were so friendly!”

“A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking”

“We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! ”

“The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. ”

“Nice, clean, small. Rooms and hallways very small. Imagine a hostel room with a nice bar and cafe. Very nice staff. Parking is wherever you can find it, expect a walk.”

“Unfortunately the leisure centre was closed and I was expecting it to be open. This was the reason I chose this place in winter. ”

“Parking good breakfast food could not eat smoked bacon to hard mushrooms dont like tried dont like smoked salmon on morning and parma ham no toast tried to be too fancy lots people left breakfast.”

“Plenty of parking, room good, bathroom good and breakfast good. Not enough tables in the dining room for breakfast ”

“Absolutely appalling, the tiny room smells of damp and is essentially a health risk with mouldy ceilings and one very rusty oil heater. Dimly lit bathroom which again is another risk. We removed ourselves from the hotel (probably wrong choice of word) and booked ourselves into a hotel in the centre, Wetherspoons Hotel was fabulous. I raised with Hotels.com who had failed to help with my refund request. ”

“Lottie’s Loft had everything you need for a short break or a long break . The property was spotless , lovely and warm , central to everything in Grassington and I would highly recommend and not hesitate to book again . A lovely welcome gift of wine , chocolate and crisps was much appreciated along with the tea , coffee and sugar . Fully deserved the 5 stars . Also no need to use your car , lovely local walks and a fantastic bus service .”
