“Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. ”

“This is an excellent hotel/inn. Very convenient for the local wedding venues, especially convenient for Coltsfoot Retreat. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. The breakfast is excellent, very generous, well prepared and presented, exactly what is needed the morning after the night before. ”

“Excellent stay, second time in a few weeks. They have recently started doing food which is a great add to the hotel. The breakfasts are reasonably priced and delicious! Best breakfast sandwich ever! Will be staying again when we are in MK next. Staff are so accommodating and rooms are immaculate. ”

“Lovely staff, great option for room service, lovely facilities for use included in stay. We also had breakfast too! The hotel is a lovely place in a lovely location, peacocks were a great added sight! There were some parts of the hotel that could use a little spruce up but on the whole we were very happy!”

“Very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Get the breakfast included option. It’s a classic English breakfast buffet with the chef right there to make your eggs just as you like. Room was big (triple). Short walk to the train station.”

“I have stayed before on many occasions, although no staff to greet you now, the lock boxes for room keys works effectively. Staff are super lovely, very accommodating.
