“In an old mining town founded in 1793. So much history going back to the French and Indian wars, the American Revolution. This friendly clean and sweet hotel sits right next to the Youghiogheny River. Down a little road in this old town when you think this “can’t be right”…you find a very nice space, a restaurant next door also overlooking the river is a good place to catch football games and the beer and food is also good. “Easy parking, good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub, the bed was super comfy, Debbie at the front desk was very nice and explained everything I needed to know and also enrolled me in a rewards program, Tiffany kept everything running smooth on the breakfast buffet, and Donna helped answer some questions in the morning.”

“Absolutely outstanding stay. The hilltop location is special and the view looking east in the morning is breathtaking and peaceful. The room was spotless and comfortable, and everything felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with great variety and quality and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Staff was welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable...
