“The staff were very friendly and helpful. We Loved our stay at the Mathis House Victorian Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room luncheon. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the food selections. both Tea & breakfast. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Had a cute shop also. We loved the selections of teas & bought some for home. Highly recommend staying here.”

“For a last minute spontaneous Labor day trip. This place is a little gem. Great rooms with the essentials and we were right off by the pool. Definitely a great little find with a decent price for the stay. ”

“Property is in better condition than other properties on LBI and seems they’ve been maintaining for a few years now. Exterior noise is reasonably good seeing that it’s right at the main bridge onto LBI. Kids running down the hallway and overhead a bit more intrusive. Happy to have a solid hotel in such a highly seasonal location and that they seem to be maintaining it to a higher standard than other properties on the island.”

“The hotel is a lot better than what i thought. They have chairs,towells and umbrellas for you to hit the beach. I wish they had late check out. I wanted to stay a little longer on the check out day. ”

“They have breakfasts, close to dinners, and other places where you can eat, there's also a Wawa and gas station ,farmacy, a Walmart where you can shop. Hotel rooms are very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Amenities are great. It's a microwave and fridge in the room. There's no noise, so you can relax very good. This is not the first time I stayed here. And I will always stay here every time I need a hotel in this área. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know and also to...
