Hotel a Yarrow

“This hotel is now getting a little dated. My shower wa pretty old. The reality is that it was cheap to stay here and for the cost it was excellent. I am happy to have affordable nice accomodation. At the end of the day it is somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was dry md pretty ordinary.”

“Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“Lovely stylish room, friendly staff. No restaurant or bar inside the hotel, they are around the corner. We had trouble finding the hotel due to major roadwork and this should be mentioned in the welcome message. We phoned the hotel twice for direction while driving around in circles and each time got a vague response. This was not how we wanted to begin our stay. A moment of good customer service to alert guests before they arrive would have been valuable.”
