“When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. “The room itself was fine. All I needed was a bed , tv and shower. It just was real old and dirty, and broken. My room smelled like smoke (cigarettes) so I asked the front desk to please get me a new room. He was very sweet and accommodating, but the second room he showed me, smelled even worse. After looking for other rooms online in a 20 mile radius, I decided I would just stay and make the best of it. There’s mold in the shower ceiling, many dents and knicks in the walls. “We were very satisfied with our room, the hospitality, and the breakfast! We stayed at Holiday Inn across the street, the night before, for A LOT more money and half the quality.”

“The Lodge is fairly remote and was very quiet when we visited in early June. The Lodge has a back patio that has plenty of seating and several tables. The patio overlooks a field and a forest. Everything was clean. Breakfast was available, but was very limited. We would probably stay here again.”
