“Daughter & I stayed 4 nights as a base to visit Nolin Lake & Mammoth Cave NP away from the tourist crowds. MCNP is 45 minutes away on scenic, rural roads. Best thing about this rental: access to the neighborhood boat ramp with adjacent swimming area, a 5 minute walk away or you can drive & park there. The bottom is sandy/rocky, not muck. “Fishing Creek Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were hoping for in our trip to Lake Cumberland. A cozy, clean home away from home with beautiful furnishings, and a lake vacation vibe. The gorgeous deck overlooking the lake was a highlight of our stay, and offered plenty of room for outdoor relaxing and dining. “My husband and I stayed a couple nights at this cozy rustic cottage. We enjoyed our stay very much. The air conditioning was superb. The cottage had a cabin feel outside and a home feel with all amenities inside. The ambiance and decorations were delightful. Full kitchen and able to cook meals for breakfast and dinner. Approximately 20 minute drive away from Mammoth Cave National Park. Host was available onsite but we had privacy. ”

“From the furniture & fun “man cave” themed decor, the cleanliness, amenities, space and the overall layout of the house. It was just excellent. Communication with the owner was effortless and efficient and I would stay again, if I am ever in Bowling Green again! ”

“We absoluetly enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, stocked kitchen, beautiful furniture, but the best was the deck and the view!We are eight old ladies that have been coming down to Lake Cumberland for the last 40 years. We have stayed lots and lots of places and this rates at the stop.”

“Suzanne was a great host. She answered all of our questions promptly before our stay. Once we started our stay, there was no need to contact her. Everything was good! We started our mornings with breakfast at the house, played on the water and then back for supper and relaxing at the house again. We have 3 boys ages 13,14 and 16.
