Hotel a Cedar Rapids - Iowa City

“Our room had a moldy, musty smell....Our sinuses were a mess by morning and we barely got any sleep. The air conditioning didn't work very well and the fridge didn't either. The bathroom counter was all chipped up and the furniture in our suite was dirty and worn.”

“Shower pressure was meh at best, but could probably be fixed pretty easily. Room was decently clean, but could use a deep clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff was super responsive. Walls are paper thin and could hear water from room above and people talking at a relatively normal volume from next room.”

“Both the kickback meal and breakfast were excellent and saved us money by not having to eat out. The extra perks of unlimited soda and popcorn make the money spent on our room an even better value. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for checking out the area. We would definitely stay here again if in Iowa city area in the future.”

“Guest should not have to pay for parking. This is a nice hotel and it is expensive, having to pay for parking is an insult.”

“I didnt try the breakfast because i felt it was too expensive and i could get better options from nearby restaurants, Also I stayed previously in nearby hotels that had free coffee and breakfast included in the rate. It was disappointing that there was no free morning coffee service, I have stayed at hundred of hotels and most offer this.”

“I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better. It was a cheap stay but you definitely saw the rust on the bathroom doors, the over flow sink would go all over the toilet paper, some of the lights didn’t work. But it wasn’t a terrible stay. Just could have been...

“Rooms are nice, but the walls are thin (especially if you have a connecting room) and the water pressure is terrible. Breakfast is standard, seem to be very dog friendly. Overall a good stay.”
