“We had a lovely stay at Wedmore Place. Staff was really nice, room was spacious, loved the free bottle of wine and wine tasting and also loved the free breakfast. Pool was nice, too. Only thing we weren’t fans of was that the sofa bed was terrible. Definitely they need to replace as you could feel the springs through it.”

“Loved this property. It was our first pony swim and the front desk gave us excellent advice on where to park. It is a charming inn that felt like home away from home. Older property but extremely well kept. It was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having breakfast and coffee available. We will be back!”

“We really liked the location of the inn and the private access to the beach. The room was very small for a double bed room, and the bathroom was wayyyyy too small. The room also had a really bad humid smell to it, and the AC was so loud throughout the night. Breakfast was decent, you get what you expect from a free breakfast.”

“Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep, and the breakfast—hot, fresh, and had a decent variety. The hotel was clean and quiet, and everything worked as it should. Nothing overly fancy, but it got the job done. I’d definitely consider staying here again.”

“Everything was great! We were glad to have the refrigerator and range top. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. The outside picnic areas are so convenient. 100% would stay here again. If I really had to reach for a complaint it would be the water pressure in the shower. But even then, nice hot shower!!”

Breezeway that goes right out to the beach, pet friendly(we brought our dog), access to sidewalk if you want to walk or ride your bike to restaurants or places nearby, and a 7/11 that’s a 1 minute drive away if you need anything that’s not offered by the motel. Jim (the owner) is a very accommodating person and hard worker. We appreciated his hospitality greatly. ”

“Great location- close to Carnival grounds. Nice water view. We were on the first floor so we could hear people above us walking around but it didn't bother us too much. Breakfast service was good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and dock. ”

"Posto molto gradevole a conduzione familiare. Super rilassante. Camere un po’ piccole ma molto pulite. A 5 minuti di strada a Swansboro ottimi ristoranti e bei negozi. Vivamente consigliato!!"
