“Disappointed after staying there. Filthy floor and bathroom. We trusted the reviews before booking our room but how disappointed. Bad odor, folks standing outside smoking all directions. Expedia stated they have hot tub available but they don’t. It’s like staying at a motel super cheap and doesn’t worth the price. Will not return again. The beds were firm and comfortable to sleep on. ”

“I thought that maybe the reviews were over exaggerated, but 100% not true. The reviews speak for themselves. This was by far the nastiest, dirty, outdated place our family has ever stayed at before. DO NOT BOOK HERE! UNLESS YOU LIKE ROACHES, OLD BROKEN FURNITURE, DIRTY ROOM, BROKEN MICROWAVE, AND BED BUGS. The only postive thing I could say was the view of the bay was pretty. The hot tub, pool were dirty and looked unsafe. The elevator didn't even work.”

“This place was awful. The front desk is never staffed, instead they have a phone number on the front door to call if you need help. I saw multiple people trying to check in by calling the number and then just leaving. The room was very moldy and musty smelling and there was a large gap at the bottom which let multiple pests in during our stay. “The toilet leaked, couldn’t get a hold of anybody at the property only seen him when we checked in. The pool was supposed to open at 9 AM never opened found a fingernail in my bed that didn’t belong to me or anyone with me. The water for the bathtub wasn’t even hot. Just terrible. Terrible. Stay altogether. Do not recommend staying there.”

“Property is an easy drive to restaurants, grocery, quirky little downtown, bars, Rockport’s great beach. Property has definitely seen better days but cottages are very spacious…two rooms. Ice machine not working. No extra toilet paper rolls in bathroom. There is a pool though I never saw it being used. Owner very friendly. Right by the water. This is a low budget motel at a low rate. Keep your expectations with that in mind and it will work for you.”

“I have to admit, when we drove up to the motel, we were a little hesitant. Parking lot was empty and there is not sign with the motel name on it. However, we had done electronic check in and was given the necessary code to get to our room. The room was fantastic, all new, great amenities inside, and spacious. We had a great stay there and don't let the outside looks fool ya'!”

“We loved our stay!!! The owner was so friendly and the place was PERFECT!! The rooms were huge and so clean! Outdoors, there was a huge patio with great seating and two grills if you wanted to have a cookout! We were there for the Texas Water Safari and the location was just a few minutes down the road from the finish line and from the restaurants, grocery store and gas station. I hope to stay here again next year!!”
