“The location was incredible and the staff were friendly and incredibly accomodating. A chair in my room needed to be replaced and the TV was not fully installed yet, but neither of those things detracted from the experience in any meaningful way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Placencia.”

“We had an overnight stay after a week at sea. We wish we stayed longer! The dinner was amazing with top notch service. The beachfront room was beautiful and the poolside bar was a nice touch. Wonderful property and amenities!”

“I had a delightful experience at Ocean Breeze! We were greeted with a lovely sign out front and the AC was running in our room. The front desk associate was gracious in accommodating our request for an early check in when our travel plans unexpectedly changed. The boat ride from Placencia was definitely farther than a 10 minutes....more like a 40-45 minute trip as the island is approx 20 miles in the middle of the ocean. The staff is one of a kind..... “STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. ”

“This is a beautiful, clean property very close to the sidewalk in Placencia. The hosts were GREAT, check in was a breeze and the AC was cold!! They have a small but deep pool on top of it all!! I highly recommend Driftwood Gardens and will definitely stay again. ”
