“The hotel was very poorly maintained. The pool was filthy. I wouldn’t let my kids swim in it. The hallways were filthy and smelled terrible. The room was damp and hot, because the AC barely worked. The elevator barely worked and was in poor condition. I can’t believe it passed its recent inspection. The staff was very nice. “This is an okay hotel. Location is not great, near some deserted lots, 15 min walk to downtown. The receptionist that checked us in forgot to give us breakfast vouchers which resulted in an awkward next day breakfast situation. The second receptionist we spoke to was very nice and resolved the issue quickly. Coffee machine in the room works only if you hold it shut the entire time. Room was clean but some things definitely need an upgrade, chipped paint and rusty toilet aren’t the best...

“The front desk staff was amazing which made it far more tolerable however the hotel was dumpy. It was an old hotel that threw a terrible paint job on the wall and updated some fixtures but it was run down and trashy and to top it off, our entire floor smelled like weed, our shower leaked onto the floor and even the interior light switches of our room didn’t work properly.
