“The room was clean and I loved the free shuttle to the arena! Only con is that we stayed on the eleventh floor. The front desk representative asked us high or low floor but failed to tell us that the twelfth floor was being renovated! So at 7am we were awakened to loud hammering and drilling. The view from the room was beautiful and we loved the amenities, we would’ve chosen another floor if we were privy to the renovations.”

“After we unpacked and settled into our room our air conditioner ceased working. We were moved to another room that was not even half as nice as the one we left. So we were inconvenience and had to repack for our room transfer because our air conditioner didn't work and we were given a much smaller room with a terrible view of rooftops filled with mechanical units on top of them. The staff was pleasant as they demoted us.”

“Staff- Professional, welcoming, very helpful. (Very nice hotel but unpretentious)
We were even offered a room upgrade on arrival.
Cleanliness- Lobby, elevators, hallways and rooms were meticulously clean.
Location- In Greektown area of downtown very walkable and felt safe even in late evening. (Great to walk to Comerica Park and restaurants.
Parking- Valet to the garage across the street. Might have saved a few $ if used outdoor lot on corner but no complaint.

“We stayed one night and I appreciated the design of the hotel, with unique details. It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend.
The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. None of them seemed to know about a complimentary cocktail besides welcome champagne even though it's listed right on the amenity page of...

“Except the convenience of the accessibility to the terminal, there are nothing to say good about this hotel specially for it's price. It's just a normal westin. However if you have a flight any other airlines except Delta, you should take a shuttle for the north terminal and the bus stop is right outside of the hotel but it takes a long way. It took almost 30 min. for us from the room to the UA check-in counter.”

“It’s a very cute boutique style hotel. I loved receiving a key with a graduate’s name and brief bio. It’s in a great location. Very walkable. The campus provides a free shuttle to everyone . Some should have perhaps told us that. Breakfast was not included and was a little pricey. However it was very good and our waitress was really nice. I would definitely stay there again.”
