“If you are looking to stay at the Italy Inn, you should know that it is the upstairs of a large convenience store. Not much there in ways of amenities or scenery, but it will do in a pinch. Room was clean and inexpensive. We were staying there for a local bike ride in Italy, Texas. Far from luxury, but good enough to get the job done”

“The elevator wasn’t working the night we arrived but it was the next morning. No cold water in the bathroom sink. The shower curtain was slightly dirty. The staff was good. The breakfast was good.”

“Only one elevator working! One ice machine, located on 3rd floor, all the way at very end of the corridor!! Breakfast, at best, passable and discontinued Exactly at 9am, no minute or 2 leeway!! All staff associates, especially room cleaning associates, excellent!! Wouldn’t choose again to stay that Comfort Inn!!”

“I made reservations very far in advance only to find when checking in late in the afternoon that the hotel was full and I was given a handicap room. These rooms are geared for wheelchairs and counters are higher, commode seats are higher, no bedside lighting all lighting overhead and bright!!”

“The lady checking us in was very helpful. The room adequate. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was cold cereal or waffles. Coffee was tasteless.”

“Check in staff was very friendly. We had one staff member be very ugly to my 4 year old autistic grandson while at the pool because he grabbed a table top and was going to throw it into the pool. Which we handled the situation. She yelled and said if it happened again he would be banned from the pool.”

“Absolutely disgusting. Stains on the sheets and towels. Floors were wet. Manager seemed shocked when I said I would not stay here and asked for a refund. Do not stay here. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this hovel down.”
