“The place is actually a mammouth service area. Food court closeby and wonderful park on the backside. They were short of personnel though and this affected some elements of the stay. Need to read the board where they state they do the rooms only after the third day (…?)”

“We received a warm welcome when we checked in. Our room was spotless and had quality bed/bedding etc. Also had a spacious, well appointed bathroom. We had an excellent night's sleep. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. All the food was first class and everyone who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...

“Good Hotel”

“Hotel was in a good position for going into Ripon or Harrogate. We stayed here to attend a race meeting. Rooms very clean,comfortable & tea, coffee with biscuits, nice touch. Evening meal & breakfast excellent. Staff friendly, polite & attentive. Would definitely stay here again”

“Great hotel only let down as the room we stayed in needs a refurb/modernisation”

“Well located and the restaurant was really nice and breakfast lovely. Our king suite was located in the loft and was uncomfortably warm. We mentioed to the staff and they brought up an extra air conditioner. This didn’t help much and was far too noisy to sleep with it, so we didn’t sleep well. It definitely needs it’s own dedicated aircon system. The pool changing area was very tired and in need of some attention.”

“I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada.”

“Understaffed! Breakfast was slow and delayed and no one at reception to check us out and provide an invoice in spite of waiting 10 minutes or so. Also say they will email bar receipts which never got sent. ”
